Violets in watercolor

After the really cool discovery from last week, i wanted to paint in a more chill way and just enjoy the process with some violets !

There is nothing new or innovative in this painting. I just wanted to relax while painting something i love. Enjoying the present time is sometimes just what i need !

You can see that between my inspiration picture and my final painting there isn’t much in common. I choose to paint bigger flowers and less all over the place (like if the picture was zoomed in). I also add lots of light and shadows. In fact my reference picture was just useful for the shape end the colors of the flowers. The rest if my own interpretation.
